Vision
Someone once said, “Vision is a picture of the future that gives passion in the present.” When asked what I am the best at doing, it is an easy answer. I am the best at building teams. Without teams, we can never fulfill our vision. When asked why someone should want me on their team, it is another easy answer. I create vision where none exists.
By creating the Personal Concierge concept of service delivery, I have been able to recreate the way that hotel companies do business. Since its inception, there are now three hotels who are desperately trying to emulate it and another that is on the way. The problem in emulation is that it is not their vision.
By creating the “Art of Sleep” bed menu, I have been able to push the industry beyond its comfort zone once again. If life is truly about options, then, why do you only have one bed choice in a hotel? It was Bill Kimpton who claimed, “I sell sleep.” Yet, even Mr. Kimpton did not have the foresight to create options. This is another example of vision exceeding expectations.
