Vision

Someone once said, “Vision is a picture of the future that gives passion in the present.” When asked what I am the best at doing, it is an easy answer. I am the best at building teams. Without teams, we can never fulfill our vision. When asked why someone should want me on their team, it is another easy answer. I create vision where none exists.

By creating the Personal Concierge concept of service delivery, I have been able to recreate the way that hotel companies do business. Since its inception, there are now three hotels who are desperately trying to emulate it and another that is on the way. The problem in emulation is that it is not their vision.

By creating the “Art of Sleep” bed menu, I have been able to push the industry beyond its comfort zone once again. If life is truly about options, then, why do you only have one bed choice in a hotel? It was Bill Kimpton who claimed, “I sell sleep.” Yet, even Mr. Kimpton did not have the foresight to create options. This is another example of vision exceeding expectations.

  • Garden Court Hotel Hires Jobe Hospitality

The Garden Court Hotel in Palo Alto, California has hired Jobe Hospitality to engage in a three-month, high impact training and development program designed to re-engage the team and the culture. Jeff Jobe will be leading this series and will focus on Communication and Service Workshops with topics such as: Staging the Unexpected, Creating Culture and Values, GSA Boot Camp, and finallly, Leadership Development. Jobe's programs are known within the Independent, Full-Service Hotel environment as game changers. We build from the basics and teach our teams to engage on a level that will create an awakening within the hospitality community.

  • Lead Generation

Since when did we as hoteliers decide that we only want repeat business? We have created a Conversion Driver for the hospitality industry. At one destination resort, we generated over 400 leads in the first two weeks of the campaign generating over 1,000 room nights over the next 90 days. All other industries are focused on driving leads to their sales teams to convert to business. It is time that we quit allowing the third-party sites do all the heavy lifting in this area. We can do it without them and for 1/10th of the cost.

  • Social Media Marketing

In one metropolitan market, we found 520 people who said on facebook that they were engaged to be married. Within 10 miles of that hotel, it showed 2,780 people who were engaged. Within 25 miles, there were 25,580 people on Facebook who had checked their status as "Engaged" to be married. Wouldn't you like to reach them? I can show you how to reach them in a very cost effective way.
